This new series to start out 2007 is based on an art deco 1930's house in Rye, England where we spent a week in 2006 to be in attendance at our daughter Julie's wedding. I love the bold, clear lines of the original black and white structure, but decided to add my own bold colors in this the second of 3 paintings using this subject. We will be returning to this town in April and I hope to get some new subjects then for more paintings.
