Making Lemonade

I was drawn to this bright, sunny yellow image of a glass bowl of lemons as my first painting of the New Year just because of its color and light on these white but sometimes dull winter days. But as I sat waiting for customers to show up on a Fri. eve. when my shop was open and noone was coming, I realized that by simply painting to pass the time and sorrow, I was making lemonade myself from life's "lemons". Deep!
