This is my daughter Julie. This is the picture I had taken 9 years earlier of her getting ready for the prom. I felt I needed practice with the human face so I decided to paint both girls in their rituals. Neither looks just like them but my aim was accomplished: to flatter not embarass. Julie designed and I sewed her dress. Today we are still doing the same craziness but not together yet which is my wish for the future.
