A good friend of ours, Francoise, is such a traveller. She spends much vacation time in France and provided the photo for the "Poterie I & II" paintings in 2003. She also spends much time travelling for Rob's work to England and Hong Kong. This painting and the previous one were subjects she photographed when also on vacation in the south of England on a walking tour with other friends and colleagues. This one is from a port town called Mousehole but pronounced (mouz' ul). There is a big white & red canoe turned over on the beach in the left forefront of the painting (in case you couldn't tell!)$125
